When to order your dress.
The lead time for our gowns is approx 5 months. However, if your wedding is sooner than this, please enquire as it may be possible to arrange for a rush delivery. Please be aware, this may incur an extra charge.
Payments for dresses
We require a deposit of 50% of the cost of your dress at the time of ordering. The balance is payable when the dress arrives at the boutique, which is usually around 8-12 weeks before the date of your wedding. Any sale dresses purchased have to be paid for in full at the time of reservation. All monies paid are non refundable.
Veils and accessories have a much less lead time than the bridal gowns, so whilst you may wish to choose these at the same time as your dress, you can leave this until your dress arrives. Accessories require a 50% deposit at the time of ordering. The balance is payable when the accessories arrive at the boutique. All monies paid are non refundable.
Fittings and Alterations (Bridal gowns & Bridesmaid dresses)
Once your dress has arrived at the boutique, we will contact you to arrange an appointment for your first fitting. We order your dress according to your measurements and after this initial fitting, if any alterations are required, then an appointment can be made with our seamstress for a consultation and 2nd fitting. If convenient for you, we try to arrange all fittings with the seamstress out of hours of the boutique opening times, as the boutique can be extremely busy which can be distracting for both yourself and our seamstress and with so many people around, there is also the possibility of your dress getting damaged.
Alteration charges are agreed with the seamstress at the consultation fitting as every dress and alteration is individual, however please ask in the boutique for an indication of charges.
